Metropolis, a new downtown mixed-use complex in Los Angeles, opened in August and is the largest of its kind on the west coast. The $1 billion, 2.2 million SF development is made up of three luxury residential towers with expansive views of the city, mountains and coastline; a hotel tower; and retail that spreads across the six-acre site.
In addition to redefining the Los Angeles skyline, Metropolis also sets a new standard for urban living in the rapidly growing and changing downtown area. Sitting between the financial district to the north and entertainment district to the south, Metropolis connects these two districts via a pedestrian-friendly zone full of shops and restaurants.
