The name has been unveiled for downtown Houston’s newest park. Dubbed The ACRE, the one-acre urban oasis is the signature piece at Brookfield’s renovated One and Two Allen Center. OJB designed the greenspace, which opens Monday and includes a large open plaza and lawn for various activities and events. The ACRE’s design features a botanical experience encompassing five curated landscape areas, which are each defined by a unique and vibrant planting palette.
