Last night we attended the grand opening celebration of 609 Main at Texas, a Hines development in downtown Houston. The new addition to Houston’s skyline is a 48-story, LEED certified tower designed by Pickard Chilton. OJB designed the landscape and hardscape for the entry plaza and streetscape, as well as the expansive two-tiered 30,000 SF roof garden. OJB also collaborated with Pickard Chilton on the 28-foot tall greenwall and water feature in the 15,000 SF “hotel-style” lobby, which offers a welcoming arrival experience for building tenants and visitors.
