The American Institute of Architects Houston recently honored Oklahoma City’s Myriad Botanical Gardens with a 2013 Design Award.
Olivia Pulsinelli from the Houston Business Journal writes:
“Winners were selected from among 122 entries, and numerous firms and individuals were honored for their participation in the projects.
Awards were limited to projects within the Houston metropolitan area or designed by an architect working in the Houston metro area, and they must have been completed within the past five years.
AIA Houston said winners were selected by a panel of three internationally recognized architects: Kevin Kudo-King, principal at Olson Kundig Architects, Seattle; Elaine Molinar, director of practice at Snohetta, New York; and Gullivar Shepard, principal at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, New York.”
