Jim Burnett, Founder of OJB, and noted critic Mark Lamster of the Dallas Morning News sat for a conversation on the challenges of building inclusive and resilient cities at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas. The event centered around the publication of OJB’s new monograph, Envisioning Landscapes. Generously supported by the Nasher and publisher Monacelli/Phaidon, the event drew a capacity crowd.
The event was free and open to the public, and attendees who made a donation to the Dallas Center for Architecture received a copy of the book. The proceeds were directed to the K-12 education programs of the Dallas Center for Architecture. ADEX is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of encouraging the conversation about how architecture and design affect our daily lives. The K-12 programming helps build and diversify the educational pipeline for architecture, landscape and planning.
