Phase one of Houston’s East River development is expected to break ground by the end of the year. Midway, the developer of the 150-acre mixed-use project that sits along the Buffalo Bayou in Houston’s Fifth Ward, is currently in negotiations with general contractors to manage phase one construction. Several architects are working on the project’s different elements, including Page/, as lead architect; Munoz+Albin, architect of the Multifamily building; Mayfield and Ragni Studio, as interior architects; and OJB Landscape Architecture for the landscape.
