Congratulations to our own Kyle Fiddelke on his elevation to the ASLA Council of Fellows. This is such a wonderful acknowledgement of Kyle’s creative ability, technical expertise, and leadership. Kyle has been instrumental in the growth and development of OJB’s practice. He led the firm’s first Net Zero-rated project, first LEED Platinum-rated project and first Envision Platinum-certified project. Since 2006, he has been a trusted advisor for the growing UC San Diego campus, and primary designer for more than 30 landscape and open space planning and design projects on the campus. His leadership in public parks and open space also includes significant contributions to Klyde Warren Park and Myriad Botanical Gardens, as well as the transformation happening now in Omaha at three connected parks known as The RiverFront. A great collaborator, dedicated to the making the built environment a more sustainable and equitable place for all. Well earned, Kyle!
