Houston cultural magazine, PaperCity, spotlighted Levy Park Conservancy’s recent donor event and sneak peek at the soon-to-open park. Following refreshments and games, reporter Kelly Schafler joined more than 100 guests at the event for a first glimpse at the newly renovated green space via a candlelight tour of the OJB-designed park. Levy Park is set to officially open on Sunday, January 7, 2017 and will feature public programming, a 3,000-seat performance pavilion, a farmers market, a community garden, dining options, a playground and children’s garden, a dog park, outdoor table tennis, and a putting green.
