Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma has been named a winner of the 2015 Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Urban Open Space Award. This award celebrates successful urban open spaces by annually recognizing and rewarding an outstanding public destination that has enriched and revitalized its surrounding community.
Working with a broad coalition of public and private stakeholders, the Office of James Burnett created a plan that transformed 15 underutilized acres of open space into a highly programmed urban park in the center of downtown.
