OJB is excited to be part of the winning team selected to provide design services for the expansion of the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston. Jacobs Engineering Group will lead the design team, including OJB Landscape Architecture and Populous, for planned improvements at the downtown convention center and its surrounding infrastructure. The work is being carried out to modernize the 30-year old convention center, address opportunities offered by the major TxDot highway project that is currently underway and improve connectivity between it and the nearby amenities, such as the Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park, BBVA Compass Stadium and East Downtown’s rapidly growing dining and entertainment scene.
