Hollywood & Highland, rebranded as Ovation Hollywood, is a 19-year old shopping complex currently undergoing a design renovation. The transformation includes a makeover of the five-story building mall structure to introduce office space, as well as the revitalization of the pedestrian corridors, which will create more welcoming and inviting public spaces.
Ovation Hollywood, formerly known as Hollywood & Highland, is steeped in Hollywood history. The iconic destination sits steps away from landmarks like the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame and TCL Chinese Theatre. The complex features retail, restaurants, and the Dolby Theatre, home to the Academy Awards ceremonies. The 2020 transformation included a makeover of the five-story building mall structure to introduce office space and revitalized pedestrian corridors to create more welcoming and inviting public spaces.
A grand stair takes visitors from Hollywood Boulevard to the main public realm, featuring an urban plaza. This activated central plaza reenergizes the heart of the project into a hub of culture and entertainment, becoming a place for tourists, employees, and nearby residents to gather. Additional outdoor spaces feature lush landscaping and provide plenty of opportunities to dine and linger at the open-air center. Observation decks also offer views of the city and the Hollywood sign.
This revamped mall has become a thriving and place-oriented entertainment center. A blend of events, including summer jazz nights, artisan markets, Friday movie nights, and other events, create an active and engaging atmosphere.
