Santa Clara City Center

The master plan for Related’s Santa Clara City Center envisions a 240-acre mixed-use destination anchored by abundant green space, a walkable public realm, and sustainable design strategies.

Spanning 240 acres adjacent to Levi’s Stadium in the heart of Silicon Valley, this partnership between the City of Santa Clara and Related Companies represents a new era of urban living. Developed in multiple phases, Related Santa Clara will introduce 5.7 million square feet of scalable Class-A office opportunities, 1,680 residences, 700 hotel rooms, and 102 acres of public green space in addition to a compelling mix of retail and restaurants.

Certified LEED Platinum, the development will be constructed largely over the site of Santa Clara’s former landfill. OJB established guiding principles for the design of open space and the public realm, including streetscapes, three public parks, and office and hospitality spaces. The community is designed around 102 acres of open space, inviting residents and visitors to engage with nature at a variety of scales, from courtyards and plazas to expansive parks. An integrated network of pedestrian pathways and bicycle trails will create seamless cross-community connections.
